Mr. Pen Gween and Jelly Bean is the second book in the Mr. Pen Gween series. In this story, Mr. Pen Gween is faced with being separated from his brother Birdie and struggles with the change he knows Birdie's absence will have on his life. After Birdie discusses the importance of change with his brother and reassures him that he'll return soon enough, Pen Gween makes a new friend who is also struggling with change. Together, the two friends learn that though change can be scary, it can be a positive experience in their young lives. Illustrator Rafael Burgos Jr. joins Lisa Ellex once again to create this delightful tale of growth and friendship.
